Not as good as other Mastertons - I am a huge fan of Graham Masterson...but this book is in my opinion nothing special.I was quite disappointed with it.Thats not to say its not a good book...its just by Masterton standards...its pretty average.However...my husband disagrees with me he really enjoyed it!!
Great start where was the ending?? - The entire story is over the most of the book and the ending is over the last two. Charactures are one sided and the main heroine is hard to understand. The thinking into the story jumps as if the author had a change of heart half way though. On the back on the book he is compared with Poe, why I dont know. Poe was able to make a begining middle and end flow this book doesnt do it! Whilst the story is far fetched and towards the end both rushed and unbelieveble. All I can say is was a disapointment as the begining started out chillingly.
Haunting - Not the usual Masterton sickness, but very very eerie. When you read this, you get an incredibly nervous and touchy feeling, I always had to close the curtains and turn on all the lights, it really is that bad! One thing that really scares me is spooky dead weird kids, and this has 1 that will scare the hell out of you!
Masterton At His Best! - Have been a Graham Masterton fan for years and this one doesn t dissapoint. A spine chiller in all sense of the word. This is one you find hard to put down, just one more page then another then oh forget the washing up!Brilliant.
